So much going on and so much to do! We have been very busy here around this home! Finishing school up,football is starting, getting mom settled AGAIN( oh did I say that out loud..lol!) lots of sporty things going on and 2 of the girls very busy babysitting and working. Garden is going in so the business won't slow down yet!
This year is going by so fast! In almost a month will be on holidays!Whooo!!! Getting all the things ready and everyone's things together is going to be the job of the month. We have not quite decided where it is we are going so that is our first thing on our list! We have a couple places in mind but hopefully we will have made the decision this weekend.
Speaking of this weekend we are busy with Corporate Challenge starting tomorrow! Stephane will play volley ball this weekend and the kick off is Saturday. I think the next couple of weeks he is playing something! He really like it so it is good for him!
Hoping the sun starts shinning and heating up our days. This last week it has been very wet and windy! The kids love being outdoors but when it is not nice everyone gets that "Cabin fever" so to speak.
We ll this is a short post for now! I will try to get back on soon!
God Bless!

Monday morning! So beautiful out! Sun shinning Blue sky, and a lite breeze!
Fresh coconut in the oven drying clothes out on the line.I love the smell of the freshness in my clothes!
Our today is looking good! Have a nice turkey supper planned with a marshmallow roast for dessert. The kids are so looking forward to it. We have to bring our school portfolios up to date,we have our facilator coming this month to make sure the girls are fine! She is really great!Beth is her name and she has been a blessing over these last 3 years we have had her! I am also hoping to get our bookcases tidy today!
I do have to up date my menu!I almost forgot! I am sure turkey leftovers will be on there as well as ham and hamburger.I think I have so bbq beef from the freezer and terriyaki pork too.Breakfast this week will be biscuits, egg casserole, pancakes and french toast.Lunches are going to be leftovers,a lot of leftovers!
We have been talking this weekend with our children about family values and how ours are different from the people we know around us.Our 16yr old daughter is having some trouble with this.Oh I know she is growing and all about letting her go but it doe not have to mean let her run WILD!! We believe in some kind of courting, going out with a group of friends, becoming BEST FRIENDS before doing the dating thing.
We want our children to learn life skills.I did not grow up having very good skills and have learned a lot on my own and fro my foster parents!God gave me a blessing when he brought them into my life! We want our children to be happy with less.Stop this I NEED EVERYTHING thinking! Our kids don't have cell phones, ipods, game boy,(oops..sorry DS- I have been corrected..LOL!),Genevieve has a cell that is one her privileges of being 16!
We are trying very hard to to slow our lives down to enjoy it and be blessed! It is very hard to do once you have gotten into the RAT RACE ! We are now taking the time to go to the field across the street to play ball with the kids, and you know what they actually LOVE it!! the other kids who are hanging around usually come running and ask if they can play. We have fun and even laugh at ourselves running the bases or having that race between the soccer goal posts! Now posting picture of this would make you laugh to hard and may cause health problems so I just won't go there yet!..LOL!!
Oh so much to say today!...I will stop for now, my daughters are making fun of how much I am writting!..Silly girls!
You all have a great Monday! Many Blessings!

Holy cow!!! I did not realize it has been soooo very long since I posted! Well life happens.Between me being in hospital and having to move my mom AGAIN! and Easter it has been almost 2 months.
So life, yeah it has been happening around our house.Did I say having 3 teenage GIRLS in the house too! Everyone has their idea how our life should happen and mom and dad have our IDEA and just let me say hormones can get running high in our house! And its not over yet! Still 2 more to get to the teen stage!
Boys Boys and more Boys as well as hair, make up and clothes are BIG topics in our house! From our 11 yr tattling on the 14yr holding hands with a BOY to our boy thinking we should have BOY twins so he can stop feeling left out. It has been crazy at our house!
The warm weather is starting and it is getting us all out of the house. We have started our garden so we have seedlings around the house.I can't wait to have flowers and fresh veggies!..YUMMY! The kids already have their tent up and want dad to sleep in it with them! They want to go camping already!!But the weather here in Alberta we all know to well we get snow and miserable weather for the long weekend in May so I think we will hold off. But we have gone and done some camping shopping at Steph new love..Calbellas! it is a pretty AMAZING store! I want to take the kids their to just see the displays! We have tenting bunk beds on our list to get by the end on June for our camping week! There are so many wishes in the store!! I think we would could live there if we were allowed!!...haha!
Almost done our schooling here and Sebastien and Katherine have about a month and half left! It is scary to think Katherine will be in grade 6 come September. Genevieve doing her 11th grade and Abby finishing junior high! They sure aren't babies anymore!
Well I will have to write more tomorrow and catch up and get this blog hoppin!
You have a great night!

FOR TODAY
Outside my window... As I look out it is nice to see the snow is gone on this first day of spring!
I am thinking... How blessed I was to be able to go to the Chris Tomlin concert last night with my husband and that my daughter was very giving when she gave these tickets to me for my birthday and insisted that dad go with me not her!
I am thankful... I thank the Lord God today for taking care of my family this past weekend while I have been sick!
In the kitchen... My 12 and 14 yr old took care of the kitchen today as I am still fighting this sickness.I am so proud of them for doing that today.
I am wearing... My comfy jogging pant ,purple snoke top and my housecoat as I still have the chills
I am creating... creativity hmmmm...... I really don't have any today or this last little bit.
I am going... Today is a day where I am staying put.
I am wondering... How my mom is doing today and it's been a few days since I talked to her!
I am reading... I really need to get a new book!
I am hoping... That I feel better in the morning.I hate being sick and leaving so much for my family to do!
I am looking forward to... The warm spring to come!
I am learning... That my children can handle the house without me being RIGHT there!I brings a smile to my face to see that they are going to be OK !
Around the house... The melted snow has uncovered a lot of things to be done! The new garden beds have to be planned and dug.The grass raked and some seed planted in spots that have not come back.Oh the joys of being able to get outside and enjoy our yard!
I am pondering... What we will do with the front yard at the corner of the house. It is a big area and could almost be another yard for the kids to play....I smell some ideas popping in my head!..haha
A favorite quote for today...
One of my favorite things... Lilac brushes..I love the smell!
A few plans for the rest of the week... I am planning for next week this week.I have 10 children going to be around the house next week so I want to DO stuff with them not just have them wanting to watch TV,or video games and the computer!
A peek into my day... The house is very quiet. The children are being very good today at giving me rest, yet here I am,it is very sweet of them! They do not even have the music on and are all reading or doing quiet thing together!I think now I am up I will get them outside for a bit.Maybe it will do me good to grab a breath of fresh air!
Thank you for taking the time to read this today!i hope your week is blessed!

She has this Gift!
You are probably wondering what these pictures are and the saying. My daughter ,14yrs,has this amazing gift! She drew these 2 pictures and I have to tell you I am not artistic nor is my husband and she has not had any lessons what so ever! She really is a great artist. We live in the city so she draws from memory.Horses are her favorite but she draws many other things. we are hoping she carries on her passion for this and stays drawing!
Have a great night!

Monday..... Meal planning, school, laundry, bowling and 2 babysitting. It is a full day!The rest of the week is very full too!School visits, report cards and having to get them into our facilitator for the end of the week.
I am hoping things work out so this weekend we can drive down to my mom's and see how she is.She gets her Life Line installed today!
This is a scary but good thing for me.I really never thought of my mom getting old,I know you are say WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE MICHELLE, but it's true .I am the youngest of 3 and not the closest to my mom in distance or emotionally but since my stepfather died in October my heart strings for my mom are very strong!Putting her in a seniors apartment was by far the hardest for me.I thought she would always stay in HER house.Boy has my reality had a check! I always told my husband I wanted us to care for our moms and wanted to have them live with us....that's not happening. I am not sure why this is weighing so much on my heart,I did not have the greatest life with my mom,but oh well.
It is funny how we react to all this stuff, getting older, our children getting older, or even having a family! Many emotions to deal with and sort out. Knowing God is there for me to lean on has been a blessing! he never fails us!
As I get more familiar with this blogging I will start to share more.
I will try to post my menu plans next.
Thank you for spending time here!Leave a note and let me know what you would like to see here!

I am hoping . . . our daughter will have at her friends this afternoon.
I am looking forward to . . . this Friday as it is my BIRTHDAY!.
I am learning . . . to be more patient and not to be quick on the loudness of my voice!
